Waffles - Basic

Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add egg yolk, milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients and beat together thoroughly. Beat egg white until stiff, stir into the batter to lighten it and then gently fold in the remaining egg white. Pour ~1/2 cup of batter onto the heated waffle mold. Makes about 6 waffles.
