Snickerdoodle Cookies 2 (slightly different proportions, + chocolate)

Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter (i/o 1 cup)
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2¼ cups all-purpose flour (i/o 2¾)
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar (i/o 2)
- ½ teaspoon baking soda (i/o 1)
- ¼ teaspoon salt (i/o ½)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°. In a large bowl, combine 1½ cups sugar and
butter; beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs; blend
well. Add flour, cocoa, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; mix
well.
