Russian Tea Cakes

Ingredients:
- 1 cup soft butter
- ½ cup confectioners sugar (plus some for rolling)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 ¼ cup flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Blend flour and salt; stir in
nuts; chill; heat oven to 400. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-12
minutes. While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar. Cool, roll in
sugar again. Makes 3-4 dozen 1" cookies.
Note: double-layer cookie sheets prevent the cookies from getting very
dark on the bottom...
