Crockpot Carnitas




Put pork, salt, pepper, oregano, cumin, onion, garlic, lime juice, orange juice, coke, and bay leaves in slow cooker, and cook on low heat for 8-10 hours or high 5-6 hours (until meat is tender and falls apart). Either transfer with some of the liquid to (1) a baking sheet and broil on high heat until golden brown and crispy on edges or (2) sear in small batches (adding liquid from crockpot as needed) until meat is nice and crispy. Add additional juices just before serving for added flavor if desired.
