Berliner Brot

Mix everything together, spread onto a buttered cookie sheet (with sides) using a knife, depth of roughly cm. Bake at 325 degrees. When done baking, immediately brush with cold water and cut (otherwise gets too hard later).

(Alternative version listed - lb cocoa, 400g sugar, 100g butter, 3 eggs, 200g peeled almonds, teaspoon ground cloves, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, pinch pepper, 300g flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder)
